apps for phones, sites for the web, cloud setups that don't fall over.
hey, I'm mikel, a full-stack & mobile developer who's happiest when a rough idea turns into something people actually use. I've shipped apps to the app store and play store, and I mostly use react, flutter, swift, and node when I'm building.
outside of code, I spend a lot of time in the cloud, aws and azure, wiring up infra, keeping things stable, keeping bills sensible. and yeah, I also do & help desk work: tickets, troubleshooting, calming down a stressed user, all of it.
I like the mix. building the thing, running the thing, and helping the person using the thing.
a bit of a mixed toolkit. i lean into whatever fits the problem best.
real projects with real users, some in the stores, some on github(not published)
a booking platform that takes the back-and-forth out of scheduling, clients pick a slot, you get on with your day.
visit yourebooked.app →a sublet marketplace, list a place, find one, sort out the details without a hundred group chats.
visit kinsublet →an ios wellness app: smart goal tracking, habit streaks, guided journaling, a bit of gamification, and personalised motivation profiles.
on the app store →an android fitness tracker for logging workouts, counting reps, watching progress climb, and getting the analytics without the fluff.
on google play →a little react web pokédex, search, filter, stats, abilities. mostly built for fun, and because who doesn't love a good pokédex.
on github →a flutter finance app: log transactions, sort into categories, set budgets, and see where the money actually went via nice charts.
on github →excellent app! the motivation features really help me stay on track with my goals. highly recommended.
clean interface, and it just has the features i actually need for tracking workouts. nice one.
Mikel's a pleasure to work with and great attention to detail and just gets things done.
